Days feel like years. Especially those days filled with deadly silence. The kind that rage inside of a person but have no outlet. The kind that sound like a midnight scream caught in the back of someone's throat. That choking, gasping, racing sound, all concealed by the deafening ring of collective denial. They are every dream that feels like falling. Every nightmare that deafeats groggy indifference. The once unidentifiable monsters materialize and can no longer be kept at bay.
